0% Alcohol Beer Is A Becoming A Favorite Of Many

It seems alcohol-free beer is becoming much more socially acceptable to drink and is now considered less of a rarity than it was five years ago.

54% of men and 43% of women claim that they haven’t tried the beverage but 59% of all the adults polled said that they would be happy to drink it in public.

Drinkers who reside in Humberside and Yorkshire were the most willing to go alcohol-free with 52% of people saying they would happily do so for an evening.

From the 2,000 adults who were questioned about whether they had tried alcohol-free beer before, 39% had because they were intrigued by it and 46% had because they were the designated driver.

Commenting on the research, Jennifer Anton, Marketing Manager for Beck’s Blue at AB InBev UK, said:

“We’re really excited to see the results of the survey, and it is encouraging to see customers are comfortable ordering alcohol-free beers when out with friends. Offering consumers choice is an important part of our commitment to responsible drinking and we are proud to brew Beck’s Blue, the market leading alcohol-free beer.”
